Christmas markets on again

Christmas markets on again

By Jillian Goh

Celebrate the season and shop for Christmas at the very popular Jan Powers Farmers Christmas Markets.

Visitors can also look forward to a live performance by the Queensland Choir, face painting for the kids, and extra gift stalls set up just for the holiday.

Make sure to pre-order your Christmas hams and seafood at one of the Saturday morning markets, so you can collect them right before your Christmas dinner.

Stock up on freshly picked fruit and vegetables at the usual stalls, this time with a side of Christmas pudding or cake from the Lions Club’s stall. You can also get your last-minute gift shopping done, with the market’s selection of artisanal goods and more.

Parking at the Powerhouse is free for 30 minutes, but parking in other surrounding streets is available as well.

The special Christmas markets will be at the Brisbane Powerhouse on 23rd December from 6am-12pm.
