Day of family fun at Spring Fair
One of New Farm’s favourite community events is back, with the Holy Spirit Spring Fair returning on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 10am – 4pm at Holy Spirit School.
The much-loved event promises a fun day for all ages, with exciting rides, live entertainment, food, games and community activities. This year’s attractions include the thrilling Miami Trip ride, giant Super Slide, Cup and Saucer ride, rock climbing, trampolines and the ever-popular dunk tank.
Families can enjoy a petting zoo, circus show, LED hoop performer, while a special local artists’ exhibition will showcase the creativity within the community.
Visitors can relax in the Spritz & Beer Garden with a refreshing Queensland Beer Co brew and keep an eye out for special appearances by local sporting personalities.
Adding to the excitement is a fantastic prize pool, including a $5,000 shopping spree at Merthyr Village, $2,500 to spend at Ascension Cosmetic Medicine and a two-night stay in Pat’s Farm Eco Chalets at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat.
A major highlight will be the live auction hosted by Ray White New Farm, featuring a zero-commission property sale package with leading agent Matt Lancashire.
Funds raised support improved learning resources and school facilities. The event is made possible through the support of community partners including Ray White New Farm, Fortis, Frank Developments, Loan Market New Farm and Merthyr Village.
