The RSL South Eastern District invites Veterans, families and all members of the local community to their inaugural Australia Day celebration!
10 AM to 2 PM | Limbless Soldiers’ Building, 42 Oxlade Drive, New Farm
Program:
From 10am there will be free tea, coffee and soft drinks, alongside a morning tea, followed by a sausage sizzle from 12:30pm.
Activities:
Adults and children can enjoy face painting, test their skills at vintage wooden games and engage with the local Navy Cadets skills. The local Mahjong Club will be on-site should anyone wish to try their hand or become a member.
Presentations:
A military history presentation by the Defence Service Nurses Sub-Branch will be available to view in the Training Room during the event to recognise their 125th Anniversary. There will also be Veteran support material available on the day. The celebration will also provide an opportunity for the public to tour the administration building ground floor and view the military memorabilia.
Gold coin donations for the morning tea, sausage sizzle and activities on the day are very much appreciated.
