“Marion” rolls into New Farm Park for Park Steam Day

Teneriffe Lions Club’s Park Steam Day on May 10 was a great day out for families at the park.

The steamroller once used as play equipment in the park was lovingly restored by the Queensland Steam and Vintage Machinery Society and returned to the park under steam with demonstrations and a sausage sizzle run by the Lions.

The New Farm & Districts Historical Society was also there on the day, talking to people about their memories of the roller when it was located in the park.
