A New Farm Park horticulturist landed her dream job after years in hospitality by training at TAFE Digital while working full time.
Melissa Wilson (pictured) said: “I was fascinated by nature ever since I was a small child and had dreams of being the next David Attenborough, but I just kept putting it off as a career.
“I finally decided to take the plunge and chose TAFE Digital because I was working full-time while studying and the flexibility to do my course when and where it suited me best was great.”
Ms Wilson turned her passion into a career by completing a Certificate III in Horticulture.
“It’s the best decision I ever made. It’s amazing working somewhere that means so much to so many people,” she said.
