Brisbane’s favourite after-dark playground Night Feast is back from July 29 to August 23, entering a new era with its first-ever winter season.

Leading the Night Feast program as CEO and Artistic Director at Brisbane Powerhouse, Louise Bezzina said: “Night Feast is about creating a living, breathing world where food, art and music collide in unexpected ways.”

New to the feast, AUNTY will serve its Birria-Style Duck Pancake

Now in its fifth season, the festival will transform the Brisbane Powerhouse precinct into an immersive after-dark playground of flavour, art and music, offering a unique experience during Brisbane’s cooler winter nights.

Total Vibrations by artist Jonny Niesche brings creativity, connection and community together throughout the festival.

Visitors can explore more than 20 exciting dining options while wandering through large-scale installations and live DJ sets throughout the month-long event.

Food remains one of the major highlights of this year’s Night Feast.

Burn City Smokers’ Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly highlights the diverse flavours featured across Night Feast 2026.

Standout offerings including Dine’m After Dark and Donna Chang will return with their signature dishes.

Additionally, Norté, Poca Madre Mexicana, VICI Italian, Pilloni, Clarence, The 203, and Sapporo Izakaya by NONDA will join the festival for the first time.

Together, they will create the festival’s most expansive and flavour-packed offering to date, for visitors to enjoy throughout the winter season.

Night Feast 2026 will also introduce a new program, Better Off Red. This one-day-only long lunch experience, taking place on August 16 in collaboration with Bosco and Blackbird, will combine premium dining, wine pairings and live entertainment.

Attendees will have a front-row seat to live performances, including vocals from acclaimed opera singers, Katie Stenzel and Jason Barry-Smith, contemporary harp from award-winning performer ELSKA and a striking showing of Paper Face by contemporary dance company The Farm performed by Artistic Directors Gavin Webber and Grayson Millwood.

Beyond its culinary offerings, the art installations and immersive music experiences will include Ignite, a bonfire-inspired seesaw installation, Joy Generator, a radiant sculpture, VISTA, a dynamic dance show, and Total Vibrations, a piece of art featuring two massive, flexible mirrors.

Additionally, Three Food Memories, a live podcast hosted by chef Savva Savas, will present a special edition at the Powerhouse Theatre, blending storytelling with tasting experiences to offer audiences a unique exploration of food, culture and personal memories.

“Events like Night Feast support local businesses, attract visitors and continue strengthening Brisbane’s reputation as an incredible place to live, work and relax,” Chair for Community and the Arts Councillor Vicki Howard said.

The event is free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase, while bookings are required for some special events.

Opening hours vary throughout the week, with evening sessions running Wednesday to Sunday.
