Purple for polio

October was Polio Awareness Month with World Polio Day recognised on 24 October.

The Rotary Club of New Farm supports this cause, striving to make people aware of this preventable disease.

On October 27, they worked with Brisbane City Council to light up city landmarks, including the Story Bridge, in purple.
