Mediterranean magic at Mr Percival’s

Mr Percival’s is bringing sun-kissed Euro-summer vibes and a brand-new menu designed by fresh arrival to the venue, acclaimed Head Chef Alessandro Pizzolato.

Mr Pizzolato joins the Howard Smith Wharves institution following a distinguished culinary career.

Born and raised in Rome, over the past two decades he has worked in some of Australia and Italy’s most acclaimed restaurants from the three-Michelin-starred La Pergola in Rome to Brisbane’s vibrant Supernormal, where he showcased his bold, contemporary flair.

Mr Pizzolato is excited to join Mr Percival’s where he will channel his first true culinary love – Mediterranean food.

“I’m really looking forward to this new chapter. I want to bring the flavours that shaped my life’s memories,” he said.

“My cooking is all about connection, creating dishes that bring people together and celebrate simple, beautiful ingredients. I can’t wait to share that at Mr Percival’s.”

Drawing on his rich culinary background, Alessandro blends his love for traditional Mediterranean flavours with modern techniques to create dishes that are both playful and precise, capturing the vibrant spirit of a European summer with every bite and sip.

To launch the new menu, Mr Percival’s is debuting Mr Percival’s Brunch Club – a six-week series of Sunday brunches in November and December, and stay tuned for a series of summer late-night parties every weekend.
