Do you have fond New Farm State School memories?
Calling all New Farm State School ex-students and staff – have your say as the school prepares to celebrate 125 years in 2026.
Next year marks a remarkable milestone for one of Brisbane’s most historic schools: 125 years of learning, friendship and community at New Farm State School.
To mark the occasion, the school is reaching out to its past students, staff and families for their memories, ideas and suggestions to help shape the celebrations.
Acting Principal, Kay Bradley, said the milestone is a chance to bring the wider community together.
“New Farm State School has been at the heart of this community for generations. Our 125th anniversary is not just a school celebration, it’s a community milestone,” she said.
“We want to bring together past and present students, families and staff to honour our shared history and look forward to the next chapter.”
The 125-year celebrations promise to be a heartfelt reflection of the school’s enduring place in the New Farm community – a chance to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate a proud local legacy.
Whether you attended in recent years or decades ago, your stories and insights are an important part of the school’s legacy.
The organising committee invites you to complete a short survey to share ideas for events, reunions, memorabilia and ways to commemorate this special anniversary.
