The New Farm Park ferry terminal is being upgraded, with working starting April 2018 and expected to be complete in late 2018.
During construction the ferry terminal will be closed.
These upgrades will make the terminal safer and easier to use for all passengers, including persons with a mobility or vision impairment, by integrating a variety of features to assist with accessibility. Features include easily accessible timetables and help points; braille and tactile signage including tactile ground surface indicators to help provide safe wayfinding; and upgraded lighting that meets current standards.
These upgrades will also improve amenity by providing an additional covered waiting area with seating and rest-zones for persons with mobility impairment.
