The Bouncing Back Handball festival is an initiative of the New Farm Neighbour Centre, supported by Brisbane City Council. On 26 May, Brisbane’s finest will gather on the Performance Lawn of New Farm Park to compete for glory. Players of all ages and experience levels are welcome to enter for a fee.

Registrations open at 8.45am on the day, with gameplay to start at 9am.

Handball is a simple game that can be played solo or in a group. All you need is a tennis ball. The aim of the game is to hit the ball with your hand (hence the name), making it bounce at least once before it moves on to the next move. Handball can be played solo against a brick wall or in a group on a handball court.
