I started real estate in 1996 & the market has seen many changes since then—some boom & some busts. Our Urban Living Auctions took place on Sunday 24th March 2012 & we had an outstanding day. The prices were the market indicators, fair pricing given the state of the market. But the competition was electric. For the first time in my real estate career we sold 100% of the properties that were 100% up for Auction by our office. What does this mean? It shows that current sellers are listening to the market, that they are not expecting to get a ‘Boom’ price in a ‘steady’ market. It further shows buyers are confident in the direction of the market and that banks are lending.
